I feel so blessed to be an orthodontist. I truly believe orthodontics is one of the greatest professions in the world. I love that I can make a positive difference in people's lives and I pray that difference is more than just a beautiful smile and a great bite.
I have been practicing dentistry for over 21 years and orthodontics exclusively for the past 15. All the while, serving the members of the U.S. Air Force and their families. I chose dentistry because I wanted to be in a profession that improves peoples lives, I chose orthodontics because I wanted to help people feel better about themselves, and I chose the Air Force because I wanted to serve a higher purpose than just myself.
As an orthodontist, I love seeing the transformation of each smile and the difference it makes in the person’s life. I love the excitement when the braces go on and then, even more, the excitement when they come off. I love getting to know each patient, personally, and seeing them grow and change during treatment.
As your orthodontist, I pledge to treat you with respect as an individual and provide you with the best care that my hands and mind can offer. I will always be honest and upfront, gladly answer questions, and make sure you are pleased with the care my team and I offer.

In addition to attending the American Association of Orthodontists Annual meeting, I actively study the latest research findings and learn about new technologies and techniques. Staying current with treatment options ensures I provide patients with proven care and deliver accurate, functional, and beautiful results.
I love to teach others about orthodontics. While in the Air Force, I spent six years staffing Advanced Education in General Dentistry residents and was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Air Force Postgraduate Dental School for the Uniformed Services of the Health Sciences.
I grew up in Spearman, a small town at the top of the Texas Panhandle, and now my family and I are settling into our chosen home here in Granbury. After having spent 21 years moving around the world – living in Alaska, Oklahoma, Texas, Japan, California, Virginia, England, and most recently in Louisiana – it feels good to be putting down roots.
Lori, my wife and best friend, and I have been married for over 25 years. We have four children, two attending Liberty University in Virginia and two still at home, whom my wife homeschools. We also have a wonderful family dog, Callie.
Being with loved ones is my priority when I’m not seeing patients. I love being outdoors, especially on the water: wake surfing is my new favorite activity. I also enjoy golf, tennis, hiking, and serving at church.
I am a man with a firm faith in Christ, a devoted love for family, a dedication to serving others, and a passion for creating beautiful smiles.
